Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) by Holland America Line

Holland America Line realizes that unforeseen circumstances may occur both before and during a cruise and therefore designed Cancellation Protection Plans (CPP) exclusively for guests of Holland America. This travel insurance is optional but recommended and available as a Standard Plan or a Platinum Plan. CPP is a travel insurance that enables guests to cancel vacation plans before travel, for any reason and receive a refund.

CPP Standard Plan 

The Standard Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP Standard Plan) allows guests, for any reason, to provide written cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled travel arrangements made by Holland America Line and receive a refund equal to 80% of the eligible amounts paid to Holland America Line.

CPP Platinum Plan

The Platinum Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP Platinum Plan) enables guests to supplement the benefits provided under the CPP Standard Plan with higher cancellation reimbursement (90%) and extends the eligible cancellation period up until the start of scheduled travel arrangements made by Holland America. CPP Platinum also provides insurance coverage for trip delays and interruptions, baggage protection, medical expenses and more. In addition, CPP Platinum includes 24-hour worldwide emergency assistance services.
