Flight Guidelines

The CR Alaska Cruise Course with Gordon Christensen will be sailing on Holland America’s Westerdam round-trip from Seattle, Washington. The following information is provided to assist as you plan your travel arrangements. Due to important embarkation and disembarkation requirements, Holland America recommends the following guidelines when confirming your fight arrangements.

Sunday July 24th, 2022 Flights must arrive before 10:00 a.m.* (earlier if possible)

*IMPORTANT: We highly recommend arriving on or before Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 to avoid any delays or airline related problems (hotel and ground transportation arrangements are not included).

The Westerdam will begin boarding procedures at 1:00 p.m. Government regulations require that all guests complete embarkation at least 90 minutes prior to sailing or will be denied boarding. All guests must be onboard by 2:30 p.m. as the Westerdam will sail from Seattle at 4:00 p.m.

Airport to Pier:

Distance: 17 miles.

Time: 40 minutes.

Cost: $50.00 taxi fare.

City Center to Pier:

Distance: 4 miles.

Time: 20 minutes.

Cost: $30.00 taxi fare.

TRANSFERS:

Holland America Line offers transfers between the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac Airport) and the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal. The cost is $29.00 per person either direction or $58.00 per person round-trip. This transportation is only available between the airport and the pier and only available on embarkation day (Sunday, July 24th, 2022) and disembarkation day (Sunday, July 31st, 2022).

These transfers must be purchased in advance through the CR Cruise Department at 855-522-2580.
